Retail Brand Success Story
Fork Restaurant

“Fork remains one of the most popular restaurants in Philadelphia, and that’s due in great part to our ability to stay in touch with our customers.” - Ellen Yin, Owner

Sure we thought Fork would be successful nearly a decade ago when we worked with restaurateur Ellen Yin to bring her vision to life. Little did we know that the brand would be so far reaching today.

  • Understand the vision of restaurateur Ellen Yin to create a new American Bistro in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic and artistic old city neighborhood
  • Prioritize communications needs with the growth of the restaurant to maximize resources
  • Create an identity that would generate and complement word of mouth advertising and public relations

  • Naming
  • Identity - Fork patrons are as interesting and varied as the menu. Realizing this early in development helped us create an identity that captured the restaurant’s charm and elegance.
  • Print communications
  • Digital communications - We created www.forkrestaurant.com with Paragraph Publisher to enable the restaurant to post its menu, which changes daily.

Along with print advertising, Fork’s strategy includes emails and print and electronic newsletters. We help Fork manage these digital materials and provide a positive experience to customers through Paragraph Publisher and Paragraph Courier. Owner Ellen Yin also consults us regularly to discuss the effect of additional expansion on the Fork brand. Most recently, this occurred with Fork:etc.
