Enoch James and Joseph Fralinger are perhaps two of the most famous names in salt water taffy — entrepreneurs who spent their careers trying to differentiate themselves in the marketplace. However, now under a common owner — the Glaser Family — these brands found their stories increasingly stuck together.
To separate their stories, Paragraph developed a strategic approach that allowed each brand to speak for itself. Focusing first on the product packaging, we allowed each brand to tell its own unique story. From there, we worked to extend these classic brands beyond the boardwalk, creating marketing and promotional materials to grow retail and wholesale business and give each brand the tools needed to stay just as relevant in the future as it was in the past.
Most recently, Paragraph created a new catalog for James' and Fralinger's, which for the first time, included another Glaser family brand — Bayard's Chocolate. This catalog is the foundation for a new overarching brand, 'Glaser's Confections,' which Paragraph will be working to establish in the coming years.
